Out for lunch....for some time

Over the last few days I have been getting a few requests for info on Reaper Heights,
For anyone who doesn’t know Reaper Heights it was a book I started about two years back and was my first collaboration with Aaron,
Currently the book is on hold and it’s mainly because it is so epic I don’t think I have the necessary skill as a writer to pull it off just yet,
So any of you who were looking forward to this I am sorry, but Jon and Sam will make there debut some time in the future I promise.

Here is the only real finished artwork for RH that I can show the rest is story boards character sketches and basic ideas which need to stay secret for the moment,
Also I can confirm that yes there was some publisher interest but nothing to get overly exited about.

Oh and hats of to my brother Dave for his stunning color work.

Update

I have been off sick so sorry for no updates, and well there is not much to update really, I’m working hard on Icarus which is my Sci-Fi comic, it is coming together nicely now and I finally have the story worked out tight so it’s just a case of scripting and editing now, it sounds so easy but sometimes writing is like pushing a wheel clapped snail up a hill (nicked from Grant) some times I can sit there for a good hour just looking at the words Panel One!

Anyway good news is I think Aaron Pittman a talented artist from America is on board with the book he sent me this little quick sketch to show he is getting into the spacey mind set, I liked it and as always Aarons artwork inspires me to create so you might see a finished version of this in the book.

Hope you enjoy and leave some comments damn it! let me know people are out there.

Honda F1

I am a massive F1 fan and I like many were shocked when I heard the news Honda had pulled out on there racing team, it is always a shame when a team has to leave the circuit but I was more concerned about Jenson Button as we need all the British drivers we can get in the sport, but thankfully I heard news today that the team has been saved, so Honda will return for this sessions racing for all the info go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/7911490.stm

DJ Snow

Snow! Yeah we all love it who doesn’t, well probably penguins and Eskimos but here in good old blighty we have had more then we know what to do with and I for one love it, if this is global warming then bring it on, soon Britain won’t have a financial crises as we will get loads more revenue when we open up ski resorts all over the UK, I can hear the cash rolling in or is that a glacier?

On a completely different note I took my first faltering steps into the world of the DJ as I jumped behind the decks to drop some fat beats and when I say drop I mean literally on the floor but I did manage to mix a few records together and I enjoyed it so have I sold out from the rock n roll scene probably but I don’t care to much and I don’t think anyone will notice I have left.

Well I’m of to practice that snappy thing Ali G does with his fingers BIG UP YOUR SELF!

My Spine and Superheros

On Saturday just gone I did some work in are garden, now my back feels like a have been hit by a pissed rhino, I’m obviously out of shape or getting old; on a plus side though I have hooked up with an artist who wants me to write a superhero comic with him, so good news I will try and post some pics soon for you to see.
